SCAN proud to be at the forefront of the "Emergence of Small Town Investing"

Recognition of effort and impact is always nice - especially when that recognition is in Forbes.

SCAN is proud to be overcoming the challenges of investing in “underserved markets.” We have been rolling up our sleeves and building the capital foundation on which the local entrepreneurial system can stand.

We have nearly 200 angel members across the state, in our established groups in Greenville and Columbia, the partnerships in Spartanburg and Charleston launched in 2015, and the Palmetto Angel Fund - which has just been reopened to satisfy demand from investors across the southeast.

We agree with Forbes: we are not Silicon Valley, but we have a chance to make returns and make a difference in the community we care about.
